1. Executive Assistant

You’ll be working closely with AlMaghrib’s senior management, namely its CEO and its Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • be the first point of contact on behalf of senior management;
  • devise and maintain office systems, including data management and filing;
  • arrange travel and accommodation
  • screening enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
  • organize and set up meetings and appointments with clients;
  • maintain meeting minutes and assisting with presentations;
  • produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
  • taking on some of senior management responsibilities, making decisions and delegating work in management’s absence;
  • being involved in decision-making process;
  • liaising with clients and other staff.

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years work experience;
  • Availability on evenings and weekends;
  • Passion for Da’wah and Islamic Education;
  • Exceptional manners, etiquettes and Islamic behavior.

2. Social Media Manager

You’ll be the creative juice behind AlMaghrib’s online presence and personality, a highly driven, autonomous professional in charge of various social media accounts (Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute social media strategy including social ad campaigns;
  • Create daily content (original text, images, video) and adapt to each social network;
  • Build, facilitate and moderate online community engagement;
  • Cultivate leads and generate inbound traffic;
  • Set up and optimize each platform to increase visibility of social content;
  • Capture and analyze appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices;
  • Conduct competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification;
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage online messaging and positioning, identify key players, and coordinate actions;
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

 

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in running social media campaigns;
  • Willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines;
  • Passion for Da’wah and Islamic Education;
  • Exceptional manners, etiquettes and Islamic behavior.

 

Skills

  • Ability to connect with people and stimulate discussion;
  • Copywriting, graphic design and video editing skills;
  • Knowledge of social analytics tools and social networking;
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels;
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of blogging ecosystem;

3. Student Support Expert

You’ll be the face of the Institute for students, providing support and information in the front line.

Responsibilities

  • help develop and implement student service policy;
  • find ways to measure student satisfaction and improve services;
  • provide help and advice to students;
  • communicate courteously with students by phone or email;
  • investigate and solve students’ problems;
  • handle student complaints or any major incidents;
  • process transactions and issue refunds as needed;
  • keep accurate record of discussions or correspondence;
  • produce written information for students;
  • meet with managers to discuss improvements;
  • learn about the Institute’s seminars and services and keep up to date with changes;
  • keep ahead of developments in support services by researching and attending courses.
